.net and .com price increase - 03/02/2010

Verisign, which operates the .com and .net domain extensions, will increase the registrations fees on July 1st, 2010. .com will be 7% more expensive, .net will go up 7%. Discount registars such as GoDaddy, 1&1 will pass the price increase to the customers.

If you already own a .net or .com domain, you may want to extend the registration right now to enjoy the current price. If you plan to buy a new domain, you can do it at the current price until June 30th.
